subscribing

send an empty mail with the subject subscribe:

newsletter@dennisppaul.de

you will get one mail back asking you to confirm. reply to it and you are on the list. if you do not reply, nothing happens and you hear nothing further — that reply is the only thing that adds an address.

unsubscribing

every issue carries an unsubscribe link, and most mail clients show their own unsubscribe button at the top of the message. either works. or send a mail with the subject unsubscribe to the same address.

what is stored

your address, the name you sent from, and the dates you subscribed and confirmed. nothing else, and nothing is shared. the full text is in the newsletter privacy notice — worth a look before you subscribe rather than after.
